The Qu’Appelle Valley is both beautiful and historic, it stretches east and west across two-thirds of Saskatchewan. The area around Fort Qu’Appelle, features 4 lakes known as the “Calling Lakes” (Pasqua, Echo, Mission, and Katepwa) all joined together by the Qu’Appelle River. The valley is filled with things to do, places to explore, natural landscapes, and year round events and activities. With 4 lakes chained together by short river connections there are an endless amount of activities to keep you busy like fishing, swimming, and boating. There are also multiple golf courses, beaches, hiking trails, and provincial parks to check out too. In the winter time this area is also a popular ice-fishing and snowmobiling destination. The Mission Ridge Winter Park is also nearby for skiing and snowboarding.
